DAY 1, ARRIVAL ST. PETERSBURG
Arrival at the airport and private transfer to the hotel with English speaking guide.
Remainder of day at leisure
DAY 2, PETROZAVODSK (Karelia Region)
Morning city tour of St. Petersburg including visits to peter and Paul’s Fortress and St. Isaacs Cathedral.
Afternoon is at leisure before departing to the railway station and your overnight train trip to Petrozavodsk. (2nd class, 4 berth shared compartment)
Overnight on board the train.
DAY 3, KARELIA REGION
Arrival in Petrozavodsk and transfer to Lesnoe Ozero Complex approximately 120 km from Petrozavodsk.
After settling in, you will receive your equipment, a safety less and training course of the snowmobiles. Travel your way through the Karelian winter landscape. Visit Kinerma, an ancient village and unique monument of Russian wooden architecture. Lunch is included today. Upon return to the complex, relax in the sauna at the hotel and dinner in the hotel.
DAY 4, KARELIA REGION
Morning departure to Vazheozersky Monastery (80 km) by snowmobile. Energize yourself with tea and sandwiches along the way. Dinner will be served in local restaurant before returning to the railway station in Petrozavodsk. Overnight train trip back to Moscow.
DAY 5, MOSCOW
Full day at leisure upon arrival in Moscow.
Early check in based upon availability.
DAY 6, MOSCOW, DEPARTURE
Morning city tour of Moscow including a visit to the Red Square, GUM department store, St. Basil’s Cathedral and Sparrow Hill.
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
