DAY 1 – Arrival – Irkutsk – Listvyanka
Arrival in Irkutsk (on own) and transfer with your English speaking
guide to Listvyanka on the shores of the famous Baikal Lake.
Along the way you will visit the Museum of Wooden Architecture
known as Taltsy. There are over 40 monuments of architectural
heritage found here. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant and
then continue to Listvyanka. Upon arrival, you will go on a walking
tour of the town, a visit to St. Nicholas Church and wander through
the souvenir markets.
Overnight Listvyanka.

DAY 2 – Listvyanka – Excursion
Morning transfer to the Sports Centre, and gear up for a two hour
QUAD bike tour (ATV). This excursion will show you the beauty of
the wild and rugged nature of the Lake Baikal area. Travel through
the taiga forests and over/through streams and marshes. A stop
for a snack amidst the forest for some herbal tea will be made mid
way before continuing on. In the afternoon, take a ferry ride to the
remote settlement of Bolshie Koty, which can only be reached by
foot or by boat.
Overnight Listvyanka.

DAY 3 – Listvyanka – Irkutsk
Transfer with an English speaking guide back to Irkutsk. Along the
way you will visit a typical Siberian village, with the traditional Salt
and Bread welcome along with a shot of vodka! Take a Troika ride
to add to your cultural experience. Afternoon arrival in Irkutsk and
the remainder of the day is at leisure.
Overnight Irkutsk.

DAY 4 – Irkutsk – Departure
Morning tour of Irkutsk, starting at Gagarin Boulevard to the historical city centre. A visit to the
Znamenskii Convent is included as is a visit to the Decembrists’ Museum. Irkutsk is recognized as
the Decembrists centre of Russia. Afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight home.
