CLASSIC RUSSIA
DAY 1 - Arrival - Moscow
Afternoon arrival at Moscow International airport, transfer to the hotel.
No guide included. Arrival at the hotel and overnight.

DAY 2 - Moscow
Morning visit to the world famous Moscow Kremlin and Armoury
chamber. Afternoon visit to Izmaylovo Souvenir market, one of the
oldest areas of Moscow.

DAY 3 - Moscow
Morning city tour including Red Square with the impressive St. Basil’s
Cathedral. It is said that the architect was blinded after building it, so
that he would never be able to recreate such a structure. Take a Metro
ride (subway), a unique experience as the subway stations themselves
are a work of art and finally a visit to Sparrow Hills (highest viewpoint)
and the New Maiden Convent. In the afternoon, a visit to the impressive
Tretyakov Art Gallery.

DAY 4 - Moscow - St. Petersburg
Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer to the railway station for the
newest “fast” train to St. Petersburg in economy class. Upon arrival in
St. Petersburg and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 5 - St. Petersburg
Morning city tour of St. Petersburg which is on the list of UNESCO
World Heritage sites including Peter & Paul’s fortress, the oldest
building in the city. Afternoon visit the world famous Hermitage,
undoubtedly the largest museum in the world.

DAY 6 - St. Petersburg
This morning a visit to the summer residence of the Russian Emperors,
Pushkin, or the Tsar Village including the beautiful Catherine Palace
which Peter the Great had commission for his wife. Remainder of day at
leisure.

DAY 7 - St. Petersburg
Full day at leisure to enjoy this magical city, known as the Venice of the
north. Do some souvenir shopping or enjoy a meal in one of the many
fine restaurants found in St. Petersburg.

DAY 8 - St. Petersburg - Departure
Departure transfers included, no guide services.

Prices are per person, based on twin occupancy and in CAD: $1350.00
