Wed. Jaffa/Caesarea/Cana/Nazareth/Tiberias                  B/D
After breakfast, we will drive through Jaffa and see Simon the Tanner’s House and then continue along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to Caesarea-by-the-Sea where Gentiles first heard the Good News from Peter and were baptized.  See the Roman Amphitheatre and aqueduct built by King Herod.  We continue on to Tel Megiddo where it Is believed that the Battle of Armageddon (the last great battle on earth) will take place and where archaeologists have unearthed 20 levels of civilization.   In the afternoon, we continue on through the area of Cana and Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus (Mattew 2:23).  Then, on to Mount Arbel for a panoramic view of the Sea of Galilee (known as Lake Kinnereth) and surrounding area.  We will check –in at our hotel in Tiberias and, following dinner this evening, we will take in the multi-media presentation at The Galilee Experience, an educational and enriching experience.

Thurs. The Galilee                        B/D
Following breakfast, our morning travels take us to Dan and Banias Springs at the foot of Mount Hermon.  Here at Banias is Caesarea Philippi, where Peter made his great confession of faith.  Drive to Capernaum, the centre of Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee.  Visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue, which stands, on the site where Jesus taught.  We continue to Tabgha (the site of the multiplication of loaves and fishes)  and the Mount of Beatitudes (Mathew 5-7) overlooking the Sea where we will read Jesus’ famous “Sermon on the Mount”.  Our next stop will beat the Yigal Alon Centre where we will see and learn about the “Ancient Jesus Boat”.  Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

The most magnificent archeological site in Israel, located at the strategic juncture of the Jezreel and Jordan Valleys.  After defeating Saul and his sons on Mt. Gilboa, the Philistines hung their bodies on the walls of Be’it Sean. (1 Sam 31:10-12).  We will continue up to Jerusalem and stop at Mount Scopus to where we can enjoy a panoramic view of the city.  Check in at out Jerusalem hotel for dinner and overnight.

Sat. Jerusalem / Masada / Qumran                                                   B/D

(1 Sam 23:29; 24; Song of Solomon 1:14).  Then, we will enjoy a swim/float in the Dead Sea at the Erin Gedi Oasis.  Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Mon. JERUSALEM                                                                      B/D
An interesting day of touring awaits us, beginning at the Southern Wall Excavation of the Temple including the Teaching Steps and the Western Wall, parts of the giant stairs, which led to the Temple Mount from the courtyard, have been unearthed.  It is in this courtyard that Jesus likely drove out the vendors and money exchangers who were exploiting the people.  Later we will visit the Shrine of the Book with time to enjoy the museum including the Dead Sea Scrolls and the absolute miracle of God’s preserved Word.  We will see the Holy Land Model, a scale model of the ancient city of Jerusalem,  our Guide will walk us through an accurately detailed smaller version of Biblical times in Jerusalem as well as the architecture and décor of the Temple.  Next, we will stop at Yad Vashem, a memorial to those who died on the Holocaust in the Second World War.
Those who wish may attend a King of Kings’ Community service at The Pavilion around 5:00 pm.  Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
