Eat Fresh Vegetables

Pack fruits and vegetables in your carry-on bag to snack on during the trip, and so you do not skip meals if there’s a flight delay or some other unpredicted circumstances. Moreover, fruits are full of vitamins compared to other snacks that are often sold in airport shops and especially fast food restaurants. In case you have no opportunity to take snacks with you, visit a restaurant where you can grab a healthy meal with fresh vegetables and lean protein.
Drink A Lot of Water
It’s essential to let your body feel comfortable and not to catch a cold during the beginning of your trip. To maintain your body in a great state, drink at least three large water bottles throughout the trip to stay hydrated. Remember that being hydrated is a key point of your health and well-being.

Take Vitamins

Think about all the difficulties your body can face while traveling. To stay in good condition, take care about your health in advance. Take vitamins before your flight —ginger and garlic to ward off germs, valerian for sleep, or ginseng to stay awake and get some work done. Take vitamins with some glasses of water before the flight. Don’t forget to continue taking them while traveling. Your body will say “Thank you” and you surely will feel better.

Know Your Essentials

In the period of traveling, there are plenty of things that are out of your control or completely diverge from what you are used to at home. Think about several irreplaceable essentials in your everyday life that help you feel healthy and good. Knowing the top things you need in order to feel good will protect your body from stress and illness. It could be a good night’s sleep, a decent amount of vegetables, or some sort of workout every day. You might do without some other things, but don’t give up doing something that’s important to you when you change your location. Do your best to make sure that these essentials are met, and be flexible with everything else.

Take Vitamin C

People tend to tolerate trips differently. If you have a very sensitive immune system, this advice is for you. Especially if you plan to travel between radically different climates, it’s essential to clear and enrich your internal organs with acidic lemon water and then strengthen your immune system with Vitamin C tablets or powder.
